Storage & Handling

Peptides are sensitive material. Stored and handled correctly, they stay stable for the long haul — here’s how we recommend doing that.

Before reconstitution

Keep lyophilized (freeze-dried) vials in a freezer at -4°F to -20°F (-20°C to -4°C) for long-term storage, or refrigerated at 36-46°F (2-8°C) if being used within a few weeks. Keep vials in their original packaging, away from direct light.

Reconstituting

Use bacteriostatic or sterile water, added slowly down the inside wall of the vial. Swirl gently to dissolve — never shake, as agitation can damage the peptide structure. Let the water reach room temperature first.

After reconstitution

Once reconstituted, store refrigerated at 36-46°F (2-8°C) and use within the research protocol’s timeframe. Reconstituted peptides are no longer shelf-stable at room temperature for extended periods.

When it arrives

Vials ship lyophilized and sealed for stability. Move them to a refrigerator or freezer as soon as your shipment arrives — don’t leave vials sitting at room temperature longer than necessary.
